Babar & Other Musical Adventures on Saturday, June 25th, 4 p.m.
On Saturday, June 25th at 4 p.m., local musicians and Cathy Kautsky, head of the Department of Piano at Lawrence University in Wisconsin, will present a short (45 minutes) and very entertaining classical music concert for children at the home of our school’s director, Naome Dragstedt. The highlight will be Cathy’s masterful presentation of “Babar the Elephant,” a composition by Francis Poulenc for piano and narrator. Peter and the Wolf may also pay us a visit! Join us for a wonderful time of riveting story-telling, drawing and dancing. Cookies, fruit and punch will be served after the concert! 12 slots only! Children must be accompanied by an adult. No charge for adults or babies.
